borrow和lend是一对对应词，在句子中选用哪个要根据物品和人的关系来选择
keep 在这里是保存的意思，但要译成“借”的意思，但它是用来表示东西要借多久时才用的
例如：
How long may I keep the book?
You can keep the book for two weeks.
3. on the second floor    在二楼
在英语中，要说在几楼，要说成on+序数词+floor，例如：
I live on the sixth floor
Our English teacher’s office is on the fourth floor
4. at the back of the school / 在学校的后部
原文再现 The gym is at the back of the school
at the back of 在……的后部 例如：
Tom sits at the back of the classroom
① 反义词组: at the front of … / in the front of        在……前部
There is a blackboard in the front of the classroom.

② 易混词: behind 在……后面    in front of 在……的前面

③ 词义拓展: back n. 后背 adj. 后面的，后部的

the back blackboard 后面的黑板   例如：
The students can draw many pictures on the back blackboard.
5. classroom n. 教室
这个词是合成词，在英语中还有许多类似的合成词 例如：
reading room                music room
dining room                  art room
sitting room                  workroom
living room                   bedroom
6. in the centre of 在……的中心
同义词 in the middle of 在……的中间  例如：
We live in the centre of the city. There is a big shopping centre near our house.
Beijing Xidan Shopping Centre is in the centre of the city.

七. 语法讲解
英语中的there be 结构常用于句型“there is/are +某物+介词+某地”，表示“某地有某物”；句子中的is/are和后面的名词在数方面保持一致。例如：
There is a tree in front of the house. 房子前面有一棵树。
There are five books on the table. 桌子上面有5本书。
there be 结构的肯定句、疑问句和否定句列表如下：
肯定句
There is (There’s) a canteen in our school.
There are (There’re) five buildings in it.
疑问句和简略回答
Is there a library in your school?
Yes, there is.
Is there a lab building in your school?
No, there isn’t.
Are there any students on the playground?
Yes, there are three students on it.
Are there any teachers in the classroom?
No, there aren’t.
否定句
There is not (isn’t) a book on her desk.
There are not (aren’t) any students on the playground.
