成就篇 The Six Section 脱口成“章” 汇集世界美文 帮助记忆名人语录 成就深层次表达 别无他求,只求烂熟于心 一般的口语学习者都经历过这样一个苦恼的阶段:词汇、语法都掌握得不错了,表达的时候,却总是免不了要先想想中文要说什么,再临时地套用单词和语法翻译过来。很明显,这是一个语言思维方式和记忆方式的问题。许多“经典”的“中国式英语”往往就是在这些时候产生的。中文和英文在这个方面有很大的区别。例如,在中文中,我们可以把很长的修饰语放在被修饰的名词或代词前面。如果修饰语过长的话,我们一般都会重开一个句子对它进行描述。而在英语中,复杂冗长的形容性文字都可以在名词、代词后面的定语从句中添加进去。是否能够自如地转换这种最基本的语言习惯,就要看说话者对语言的驾驭能力了。 人的母语思维和记忆方式的形成是自然的事,但要形成第二种语言思维和记忆方式却不是一朝一夕的事情,因为母语始终会影响着它的形成。 在有一定英语程度的基础上复述、背诵一些短小精悍、文字地道的短文、经典名篇、演讲等,对于培养语感、形成英文思维和记忆方式,是一种很有效的传统方法。 练习方法: 第一步、不要借助文字,先听录音。根据自身英语水平程度和短文难度的不同,用尽量少的次数理解短文内容。记下短文中的能提供内容线索的短语、单词(尤其是表示内容转折、渐进的单词)和一些不常用的单词。 第二步、根据记下的思路和单词,试着串出完整的内容。 第三步、整理完思路之后,开始尝试大声复述短文的内容。 第四步、第一次的复述可能不尽完美,这时要继续听录音,记下更多的细节和第一次复述时漏掉的内容。 第五步、按上述方法继续你的复述,直到你感觉你已经把英文水平都发挥出来了。这时候再翻开文字,对照录音,把错漏的地方更正过来。 第六步、当你可以一字不差地把短文复述出来的时候,学习任务并没有结束,因为另一个同样很重要的任务是培养语感。在文字中标出单词的重读和它们的升降调,模仿录音,反复练习。 Part One A World With Love 第一部分 人间有爱 1 The True Meaning of Love By Mother Teresa Spread love everywhere you go, first of all in your own house.
