14、It is reported that some developed countries have shipped broken parts of computers to China. Last month Hong Kong officers found 131,000 kilograms of broken computers, TVs and phones sent from Japan.
Things like these are called electronic waste, or e-waste. Dealing with it is not an easy job. Every time an old computer breaks down, it needs to be dealt with safely. But at present, broken computer parts are usually buried. It may be hundreds of years before they are really going in the earth（泥土）.
Many places in China are polluted by e-waste. Guiyu in Guangdong Province is one of them. This town is named as “the e-waste capital of the world”. “Bike-sharing is a greener method of transportation and provides a user-friendly experience,” said Liu Xiaoming, vice-minister of transport．“But it’s a combination of online and offline business．Operators are usually strong in online services, but lack offline business experience, which causes problems．”
To deal with these problems, the company came up with the idea of encouraging people to return the bikes to stations by rewarding free time for their next rides．
Now, Chinese service operators are also trying to address these problems．For example, Mobike sets a 100-point credit score for each user, with points taken in the case of bad behavior．Once a score drops below 80, bike rental is increased to 100 yuan per 30 minutes, up from 0.5-1 yuan．
