Pi was the only person surviving the disaster and had to live with some animals, including a tiger, at sea. After the death of all the other animals, Pi managed to live with the tiger for 227 days until they were saved.
It's Pi's bravery and cleverness that make him a hero respected by everyone. Read it and you will fall in love with it.
