三. 课文内容分析：
1. Do you know where it is ? 你知道他在哪吗？
这是一个主从复合句，由主句Do you know + 宾语从句where it is构成。句中know是及物动词后须加宾语，where it is是一个句子充当宾语叫做宾语从句，where引导的是宾语从句不是特殊疑问句，因此句子的语序用陈述句语序。
eg .
Do you know who he is ? Do you know where Jim is ?
2. What differences can you find ? 你能找出不同吗？
difference意为“不同”，是名词，复数是differences，其形容词词性是different，意为“不同的”，反义词是same，difference还可以作不可数名词，意为“区别”。
eg .
Can you find five differences ?
What’s the difference between the two words ?
The two books are different .
3. What / Who else can you see ?
你还能看见别的什么东西/别的什么人吗？else是副词，常用在疑问代词或不定代词之后表示“别的”“其他的”。
eg .
What else do you know ?
4. Aunt Sally went shopping and she bought a sweater . 萨莉阿姨去购物，她买了一件毛衣。
went是go的过去式，bought是buy的过去式，go shopping意为“购物”“买东西”。
5. It’s an old photo of my family . 这是我家的一张旧照片。
a photo of … 一张……的照片
6. Can I see it ? 我可以看看它吗？
Sure . Look ! 当然了，看！
句中see不是“看到”的意思，而是“看一看”的意思，相当于have a look at或look at。
7. Oh , they look young ! 噢，他们看起来很年轻。
look是系动词，“看起来”。
8. Who’s that man between your mother and father ?
between … and … “在……和……之间”
9. The old man and woman in the middle are Jeff’s parents .
in the middle 在中间
10. You know the woman in the red dress , right ? 你认识那穿红色衣服的女士，对吧？
It’s me . 是我
11. Who is the funny boy ? 那个很有趣的小男孩是谁呀？
funny — 形容词，有趣的，风趣的。
12. Pretend you are Jim or Kate and say something about the picture .
假装你是吉姆或凯特，描述这幅画。
something——某事
13. your own family photo 你自己家庭的照片
own —— 形容词性物主代词，某人自己的
14. What’s your favourite animal ?
favourite —— 形容词作定语，“特别喜爱的”
15. I can speak some Chinese now . speak —— 说，讲话
辨析：speak和say
speak——可表示发言，讲话，讲某种语言，可指长篇大论或断断续续地说话。
say——说，述说。
eg .
Can you speak English ? I have something to say .
