It’s raining. My house is all wet.
句中 all wet 是“湿透”的意思，还有“大错特错”的意思。

过去进行时
(一）定义
过去进行时是表示过去某个具体时刻正在进行的事情或动作。
（二）结构
was/were +doing (现在分词）
（三）用法
过去进行时表示过去某段时间内持续进行的动作或事情。常用的时间状语有this morning, the whole morning, all day, yesterday, from nine to ten, last evening, when, while等。
通常不能用于过去进行时的动词主要有
表示心理状态，情感的动词，如:love, hate, like, know等。
部分连系动词，如：seem, appear等。
感官动词，如：see, feel, look等。
短暂性动词，如：stop, buy等。
