New research from Tuck Business School at Dartmouth College, US, has discovered that people have this thought because they are caught in the “friendship paradox友谊悖论”.
The friendship paradox means you’re more likely to be friends with someone who has more friends than someone who has fewer friends.It’s not that some people avoid making friends with others. It’s because he or she has a larger friendship circle, according to Scientific American.
