Study letters (Aa,Bb,Cc,Dd) ; Teaching aid : tape , pictures , cards Teaching Procedure: Step 1 Revision (1) Teacher with students say:” Hello”. (2) Sing” Good morning to you!” song. Step 2 Presentation (1) Show “Aa”card. Then students read after me. (two times) (2) One by one read “Aa” . (3) Write “Aa ” on the Bb. (4) The students write it in their English books. (5) Using the same way teaching letters Bb to Dd . (6) Sum up. Step 3 Practice (1) Hold the classes read letters Aa to Dd. (2) Play a game : Guess letters. A student in front of Bb. Use his mouth act letters ,anther guess it. (3) Listen and do.(Listen to tape .If “yes” please do welcome, if “no” please put your head on your desks .) Show them on Bb: 1 Aa Bb Dd ; 2 Dd Aa Cc ; 3 Bb Cc Aa ; 4 Cc Dd Bb . Step 4. Presentation (1) Show an apple picture and ask: “What’s this ?” ,find a student answer “It’s an apple.” (2) Hold the classes read “an apple” two times . (3) One by one read “an apple” (4) Group one and two ask :“what‘s this ?”group three and four answer :“It’s an apple.” (5) Find a group ask and answer :“What’s ……………” (6) Using the same way teaching : banana, cat , dog …... Step 5 Practice Play words game : show word cards on the Bb. Please two students ask and answer : What’s this? It’s……”.Another two listen and put their hands on the word. Whose hand is first on the word , he is winner . Then the winner must show the word card to classes , hold the classes ask and answer to themselves. Step 6 Sum up. Step 7 Homework. (1) Copy the letters Aa to Dd in your Copy Book. A letter copy four times. (2) Read these letters and words ten times. Writing plan on the Bb: Do you know ……? Put the Picture Card of Gogo in front of your face . T : Hello ! I’m Gogo . Do the same with the Picture Card of Tony . T : Look (Point to your eyes .) and listen . (Put your hand to your ear .) Play the tape and move the Picture Cards like a puppet show . T : Now open your books . Model opening the textbook . Have Ss look at the page and play the tape again . Play the tape again , but this time pause after each line to have Ss repeat . Step 3 Vocabulary T : Listen and repeat .Point to each picture . Have Ss listen and point to each picture while repeating after the tape . Step 4 Practice 1 T : listen. Play the Tape for number 1, and then pause. Point to each picture with a questioning . Once the Ss identify the correct box, trace the number 1 in the box with your finger . Have Ss do the sane in their books. Play the tape for No.2 and pause Point to each picture with a questioning .
