I…. 询问并回答别人在过去的时间里去了哪里,干了什么。 2.能够理解对话大意;能够用正确的语音语调朗读对话。 情感、策略、文化等有关目标: 了解新疆的风土人情;要保持乐观的心态去面对事物。 二、教学重点:能够在情境中恰当运用句型Where did you go ? I went to…. What did you do there? I…. 三、教学难点:单词fell off, Labour Day, mule , Turpan , could和till的正确发音。 四、课前准备: PPT课件、词卡、 magic box、调查表 五、教学过程: Step1 Warm up 1. Greetings: T: Today I am your new English teacher. I’m Miss Wang. Nice to meet you. 2. Game: Sharp Eyes 单词快速闪卡 T: Say the words as quickly as you can. Ss: saw a film, rode a horse, went swimming, watch TV….. 3. Free talk T: I watched TV and washed my clothes last Saturday. What did you do last Saturday? S1: I …. T: Did you…? S2: I …. T: Did you…? (设计意图:通过单词快速闪卡游戏,让学生复习所学动词短语的过去式,并进行简单的free talk ,复习What did you do last…?和Did you…?句型,为学习新课做铺垫。) Step 2 Presentation: 1. Let’s try: T: You did lots of things last Saturday. What about John? What did he do last Saturday? 出示John打电话的画面。T: John answered a phone call from Amy. What did they talk about? Let’s listen and tick or cross. Three questions for you: ( ) The second class is beginning. ( ) John is at home. ( ) John hurt his foot. (设计意图:通过情景对话呈现Let’s try,为学习Let’s talk做准备。) 2. Let’s talk: (一)整体感知文本 T: We know John didn’t go to school. He hurt his foot. So Amy came to visit him. What happened to John? Listen and answer: What happened? Ss: He fell off the bike last Saturday and hurt his foot. 词卡出示fell off并教读,强调字母e的发音。 T:What did they talk about later ? They talked about Labour Day holiday. T:Do you know Labour Day? PPT出示Labour Day,并对其进行解释。Labour Day is in May. It’s on May1st. On May1st, we usually have three days off. So we called it Labour Day. 词卡出示,并教读。T: Do you love Labour Day? John loved Labour Day too. (设计意图:让学生带着简单的问题整体感知文本,并排除难点单词,为学习新知做铺垫。) (二)再次理解文本 Listen again and answer: 1)Where did John go on Labour Day holiday? 2) What did John do there? 1.学习句子Where did you go ? I went to…. Ss: He went to Mt.Tianshan and Turpan in Xinjiang. T: Do you know Xinjiang?出示新疆地图,并做解释。Xinjiang is the biggest province in China. There’re lots of beautiful places in Xinjiang, such as Mt.Tianshan.ppt出示Mt.Tianshan图片,欣赏天山美景。继续出示ppt,出示Turpan图片。This is Turpan. Turpan is famous for grapes. There’re lots of grapes in Turpan. 词卡出示Turpan.并教读。 T: We know John went to Xinjiang. Where did you go ? 师板书:Where did you go ? I went to…. 2.学习句子:What did you do there? I rode a horse. T: We know John went to Mt.Tianshan. What did he do there? Let’s ask him together. Ss: What did you do there? PPT呈现John的回答:I rode a horse. 师板书:What did you do there? I rode a horse. PPT呈现horse图片,T: This is a horse. 再次出示骡子图片,T: Is it a horse? Ss: No , it’s a mule.词卡出示mule,并教读。 师领读板书,Where did you go ? I went to…. What did you do there? I rode a horse.整体、小组、个人机械操练句型。 3. Game: 幸运大抽奖 (设计意图:通过理解文本内容,呈现新知、学习新知,机械操练与游戏趣味操练相结合,让学生对主句型掌握的更扎实。) 4. 学习句子We saw lots of grapes there, but we couldn’t eat them. They won’t be ready till August. T: We know John went to Mt.Tianshan. He rode a horse there. What did he do in Turpan? Let’s ask him together. Ss: What did you do in Turpan? PPT呈现John的回答: We saw lots of grapes there, but we couldn’t eat them. 词卡呈现could,并教读,强调ou的发音。T: Why? PPT呈现They won’t be ready till August. 词卡出示till,并教读,强调i的发音。 (设计意图:通过情景呈现新知,并设置悬念,激发学生学习的好奇心。) Step3 Practice 1、Listen and imitate. T: Now, let’s listen and imitate. Pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation. (1)听音正音(2)听音跟读 (3)男女生读、小组内读 (4)表演 2、Text reconstruction: Good memory T: You can read very well, a challenge for you! Can you fill in the blanks? 3、Sing a song Where did you go on your holiday? I went to Xinjiang. I went to Xinjiang. What did you do there? What did you do there? I rode a horse. I saw grapes. We couldn’t eat them. We couldn’t eat them. They won’t be ready till August. (设计意图:以高年级的音乐欣赏水平出发,以他们喜欢的曲调演唱歌曲,加深对主句型及课文内容的记忆。) Step 4 Production 1. Listen and choose: T: Just now, we knew John’s Labour Day holiday. What about our friend Sarah? Listen and choose. (设计意图:通过听力检测提高学生对主句型的掌握。) 2. Make a survey. T: Just now, we knew Sarah’s Labour Day holiday. What about your holiday? You can make a survey in your group and write them down in this form. Then give a report. First let’s do a model. (设计意图:由教材内容到实际生活,学生在不知不觉中实现了语言的综合运用。) Step 5 Progress 1. Emotion: Wherever you go, I hope you will have a good time . Please be happy everyday! 2. Sum up: What did we learn today? Homework 1. Read the dialogue with your partner. 2. Make a survey about parents’ holiday with your friends.
