【知识点一】形容词和副词的基本用法
1. 形容词修饰_________, 放在前面；形容词修饰____________________, 放在后面。

【知识点二】形容词副词的比较级与最高级的变化规则
一、规则变化
1.一般在词尾直接加er或est, 例如,tall-taller-tallest, long-longer-longest
2.以不发音的字母e结尾的单词在词尾直接加r或st,例如, nice-nicer-nicest
3.以辅音字母+y结尾的词,把y变为i,再加er或est, 例如,heavy-heavier-heaviest
4.重读闭音节,末尾只有一个辅音字母,双写这个辅音字母,再加er或est,
例如,big-bigger-biggest
5.部分双音节词和多音节词分别在原级前加more构成比较级和most构成最高级,
例如,slowly-more slowly-most slowly；beautiful - more beautiful-most beautiful

【知识点四】形容词、副词等级的用法
一、比较级的用法
1、 A + be + 比较级 + than + B 表：“A比B更…”
2、 疑问词+比较级,A or B? 表：“A或B哪个更…?” Who is taller, Jim or Tom ?
3、 比较级+and+比较级；more and more+ adj. 表：“越来越……”
The tree became taller and taller.
The city became more and more beautiful.
4、 A + be + the+比较级+of the two 表：“A是两者中较…的一个”
Look at the two boys. My brother is the taller of the two.
5、the+比较级…,the+比较级… 表：“越…, 就越…”
The harder you work, the more you’ll get.
6、原级比: as + adj. / adv. + -as 表：“和…一样”
not so / as + adj./ adv. + as 表： “不如…一样 ”
less + adj. + than--- The building is less high than that tower.
The building is not as high as that tower.
※ 降级比较式一律用 less +原级+than--- The film is funnier than the book.
The book is less funny than the film.
7、A + be + 比较级 + than any other +可数名词单数
A + be + 比较级 + than the other +可数名词复数 比较级形式表最高级含义。
Shanghai is larger than any other city in China.
the other cities in China.
8、not, never 之类的否定词与adj.或adv.的比较级连用,表最高级含义.“再没有比…更…”
It is not a better idea. 这是一个再好不过的办法。
I’ve never heard a more interesting story. 我从没听过比这更有趣的故事。
9、倍数的表达 倍数+as+原级+as+---: 前者是后者的多少倍。
倍数+比较级+than+---: 前者比后者---多少倍
The garden is about three times as big as ours.
Our house is about twice bigger than theirs.
10、修饰比较级可用 a lot, much, far, a little, a bit, even,
The city is much cleaner than before.
修饰原级可用very, so, quite, too, enough, rather
二、最高级的用法
1、与 in/of短语连用 表：“……是……中最……的”。
This apple is the biggest of the five.
2、one of the+最高级+n（复数） 表： 最……之一……
Miss Yu is one of the most popular teachers in our school.
3、The+序数词+最高级+n(单数) 表： 第几……的……
Yellow River is the second longest river in China.
4、疑问词+最高级 A,B or C? 表：A, B和C谁最……
Who is the best in the match, Tom, Jim or Amy ?
5、当最高级前有物主代词、指示代词、名词所有格时,不加the。
