读后续写——动物描写
　　技法指导
读后续写的文章要注意以下几点：
第一点：读懂前文，把握文章的关键信息和语言特点。
第二点：按照原文中事件发生的逻辑性，构思好情节发展，这个发展须符合情节内在的逻辑。
第三点：要注意保持卷面整洁，字体工整清晰；严格控制字数。

阅读下面短文，根据所给情节进行续写，使之构成一个完整的故事。
Brady is a recently retired search and rescue dog. He is not happy and misses his owner Al because Al has gone out on a rescue mission without him. Al's nephew Steve decides to take Brady along when he and his friend Zach go on an overnight hike. But suddenly Steve and Zach smelled something burning and they realized that lightning has set the woods on fire. Wind­blown flame had leaped from the top of one tree to another. The long dry summer had turned the forest into a tinderbox (危机四伏的地区), and the thunderstorm wasn't helping much. It had more wind and lightning than rain. Zach pulled Steve's arm. “Let's go! We can make it back to the river we crossed today.”
Brady barked_a_sharp_warning. Ahead of them lay a dense curtain of smoke across the trail. They'd never make it through that—they'd have to find another escape_route. The dog was tugging (拖，拉) at his leash (皮带) trying to draw them away from the smoke. This was what Brady was trained to do, and yet Steve was uneasy. It seemed to him they were moving away from the river.
Brady lifted his head and snuffed (出声地嗅) the smoke­laden wind. Next moment, the dog bounded away and disappeared. The boys yelled and shouted for him, but he didn't come back. They had no choice but to leave him behind. Heartsick, Steve helped Zach up the slope. He couldn't blame Brady for panicking and bolting. He himself wanted to run even though he didn't have a clue which way. They hadn't gone far when there was a familiar bark, and Brady came bounding toward them.

It seemed a century had passed, a lake with a boat on its surface, came into sight. “Wow! Thank you, Brady! You saved us all！” So far, it taught us that animals are worth our trust!

Jack and his wife Tonya were sailing around Africa with their friends Max and Sasha. One day they saw a big fishing boat. It was moving fast.
“Hello！” they shouted. The men on the boat looked at them angrily. Max looked carefully at the boat.
“Something's wrong with their fishing net，” he said. They got nearer to the net.
“What's that？” said Tonya. “There is something in the net. It's alive.”
Very slowly they moved nearer.
“I can see it now，” said Tonya. “It's a killer_whale—it's hurt. There's blood in the water. How can we help it？”
“I can see it too. It's a baby but we must be careful，” said Max.
Jack jumped into the water, “I can get the net off its fin (鳍)，” he said.
Jack got the net off the baby killer whale. There was a big cut on its fin. It swam away. Suddenly there were other killer whales near the boat.
“Jack！” Tonya shouted. “Get in quickly.” Jack swam to the boat as fast as a fish. “That baby killer whale ... I am going to call it Lucky，” he said.
As they moved away, it began to rain harder and harder.
Jack said, “We must get away from the wind. I can see a town over there. Let's go.”
The town got nearer but the_waves got bigger. Suddenly a very big wave hit the boat.
“Is everyone OK？” shouted Jack.
“Tonya? ... She's not in the boat，” said Sasha. “She's in_the_water.”
They looked into the cold, dark water for hours. “Tonya! Say something, Tonya. Where are you？” shouted Max.
The_wind got stronger and the boat was full of water. Another big wave hit the boat.
“Jack, do you want us all to die？” said Max. “We can't do any more. Tonya is wearing a life_jacket (救生衣) and she can swim very well. Let's sail to the town.”

China is the hometown of chopsticks. The invention of chopsticks reflects the wisdom of Chinese ancient people. A pair of chopsticks, though simple, can nip, pick, rip and stir food.
