I can’t find it anywhere. 2. 用于代替指示代词this, that. — What is this? — It’s a computer. — Whose computer is that? — It’s hers. 3. 用于表示季节、时间、距离、自然现象和环境。 It was rather windy at sea sometimes. It was terrible, long journey for him. 二.引导it的用法 1.作形式主语,代替由不定式或不式复合结构、动名词、或从句所表示的真正的主语。如: It is exciting to find an ancient tomb. (代替不定式) It was wrong for you not to help her. (代替不定式复合结构) It isn’t known where she has gone. (代替主语从句) It will be useless learning a theory without practice. (代替动名词) It is believed that this man found in the grave was from a rich family.(代替主语从句) 2.作形式宾语,带替由不定式、动名词或从句所表示的真正宾语。 We consider it necessary to master two foreign languages.
