一、基础知识
宾语从句：在句子中起宾语作用的从句叫做宾语从句.
宾语从句注意三点：（1）时态 ；（2）连接词；（3）语序
（1）时态；
①宾语从句的主句如果是现在时态的话，从句根据句子意思使用任何时态。例如：My teacher tells me that John got an A in the yesterday's exam. 这里从句就是用了过去式。还可以说 My teacher tells us that we will have a trip to Nanjing.
②宾语从句的主句如果是过去时态，那么从句要使用过去的某种时态（过去式，过去完成式，过去进行式等），例如: My teacher told me that I had passed the exam. (告诉我之前，我考试已经通过了。考试通过发生在告诉之前，是过去的过去，用过去完成时)
③不管宾语从句的主句是什么时态，只要从句部分是一般真理，名言警句等的话，那么从句都是使用一般现在时。例如：My teacher told us that the earth goes around the sun.

1.宾语从句的连接词
从属连词
连接宾语从句的从属连词主要有that,if,whether.
that引导表示陈述句的宾语从句,而if和whether引导表示“是否”的宾语从句.
He told that he would go to the college the next year
他告诉我他下一年上大学.
I don’t know if there will be a bus any more.
我不知道是否还会有公交车.
Nobody knew whether he could pass the exam.
没人知道他是否会通过考试.
连接代词主要有who, whom ,whose ,what ,whoever ,whomever ,whosever, whatever, whichever.
连接代词一般指疑问,但what, whatever除了指疑问外,也可以指陈述.
Do you know who has won DNF game?
你知道谁赢了这局地下城与勇士游戏吗?
I don’t know whom you should depend on.我不知道你该依靠谁.
The book will show you what the best CEOs know.

连接副词
连接副词主要有when,where,why,how,whenever,wherever,however等.
He didn’t tell me when we should meet again.
他没有告诉我什么时候我们能再见面.
Could you please tell me how to use this computer?你能告诉我怎么用这个电脑吗?
None of us knows where these new parts can be bought.
没有人知道这些的新的零件能在哪里买到.
语序 宾语从句中的从句只能用陈述句语序。
He asked me where the nearest post office was .他问我最近的邮局在哪里。
2. 感叹句一般是用来表示说话时的喜悦、惊讶等情感。英语感叹句常用"what"和"how"引导，"what"和"how"与所修饰的词置于句首，其它部分用陈述句语序。
what+(a/an)+adj.+n.+主语+谓语+(it is).
What a clever girl she is! 多么聪明的姑娘呀！
How+adj.（adv.）+主语+谓语+(it is).
How cold it is today!今天多么冷呀！
3..enjoy喜欢；享受……的乐趣
enjoy doing sth. 相当于 like doing sth.
They are enjoying their dinner. 他们正在享用他们的晚饭。
4.put on 增加（体重）；穿上；上演
She looks like she's put on weight.她看起来好像增重了。
Jack,it’s cold outside ,put on your sweater before you leave the room.杰克，外面冷，出去之前先把你的毛衣穿上吧
Transformer 4 has been put on on June 27th 2014.《变形金刚4》在2014年6月27日上映了。
put on 表增加 相当于 increase 增加，增长（速度，数量）
increase by 是‘增加了多少’
increase to 是‘增加至多少
5. Sounds like fun. 听起来很有趣。
省略了it这个形式主语，完整的句子是：It sounds like fun.
sound like 听起来像+ n.
It sound like a nice room. Can we take a look at it?
听起来房间不错，我们能看一看房间吗?
6.热的.hot-hotter-hottest
常见需要双写末尾辅音字母再加“er，est”的形容词(辅+元+辅)：
big, fat， hot， red ，wet ，thin， sad
7.if表示：是否；如果 ，当表示“是否”时和whether是同义词，通常可以互换，
I don't know if/ whether they will come to help us. 我不知道他们是否来帮助我们。
whether 和 if 不能互换的情况
①当whether与or not连成一个词组时，whether不可换用if。
I don't know whether or not they will come for our help. 我不知道他们是否要来求我们支援。
②在介词后面只能用whether，不能用if。例如：It depends on whether he is ready. 这件事要看他是否有准备。
③在动词不定式之前，只能用whether，不能用if。She doesn't knows whether to get married now or wait. 是否现在结婚或是等待她不知道。
8.throw sth. at sb.向某人扔东西（带有感情色彩）
He threw some bananas at me as soon as I sat down.我一坐下来他就给我扔了一些香蕉。
9. wash away 冲刷，冲掉

When US student Olivia Priedeman, 17, woke up one morning, she thought she had had a dream about making plans with a friend.
But it wasn’t a dream. Her phone showed that during the night, Priedeman had read a text message from her friend. She did it while she was fast asleep.
Reading and sending text messages while asleep—called “sleep texting”—is an unusual sleep behaviour, similar to sleepwalking. It’s also a growing concern(关心的事) among doctors: young people can’t live without their cell phones.
One in three teenagers sends more than 100 text messages a day, according to the Pew Internet & American Life Project. And at least four out of five teenagers said they sleep with their phone on or near their bed.
Elizabeth Dowdell, a professor at Villanova University in Pennsylvania, has studied sleeping texting. She said that having a phone nearby all night is a big part of the problem.
Andrew Stiehm, a sleep medicine expert with Allina Health in Minnesota, agrees. It’s possible for the part of the brain that controls motor skills (动作技能) to wake up, while the part of the brain that controls memory and judgment(判断) may be still asleep. That’s why some people can perform basic movements ---such as walking, talking, texting or even driving—while they’re sleeping. Some of Dowdell’s students said that they’re disturbed by their nighttime texting behavior. But because sleep texting is unconscious, it’s a difficult habit to break. Dowdell said she knows of some students who wear socks on their hands to keep themselves from texting.
Marjorie Hogan, a doctor at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, suggests keeping all electronic devices(电子设备) outside the bedroom at certain times.
