现我镇生猪养殖户达到2257户，生猪小区11处,200平方米以上规模猪舍49个，规模养殖户814户，年生猪饲养量达到17.1万口，年出栏12万口，存栏5.3万口，其中可繁母猪存栏7934口，种公猪439口。

人口数993人，耕地面积9187万亩， 2008年人均收入2600元，农业总产值300万元。生猪规模养殖户5户，散养60户。

随着工业化的进程，我们在寻求自我发展的同时忽略了对自然界造成的破坏，使得环境日益恶化，党中央适时地提出了可持续发展战略，强调环保与我们的生存息息相关。通过建设本项目，可以有效调整养殖业向生猪养殖发展，减少草场压力，有利于生态恢复；同时项目产生的粪尿是良好的肥料，有利于提高农作物的产量，形成猪--沼--田的良性循环，有利于绿色有机食品生产，有利于提高农业的生产效益。

农业产业化龙头企业，必须有稳定的生产基地作依托，形成“公司+基地+农户”的农业产业化经营模式。建设***旗5000头生猪养殖新建项目，旨在通过龙头企业的带动，促进***旗生猪养殖向规模化、高效化、产业化方向发展，从而带动全旗农业增效、农民增收。
