我作为一名学生的家长，每天看着孩子背起书包，快乐地走进学校的大门；看着孩子放学回来记单词，学语文，做数学题……蓦然发现时光飞逝，孩子已经迈入了人生学习的第一个转折点。如何让他尽快适应生活，愉快地学习？正当我茫然失措，无从下手之际，学校开设的家长课程开课了。让我茅塞顿开，从而更客观、更科学地教育学生与自己的孩子。
通过这期家长课程，使我深深体会到学校对孩子教育的重视，也更深地懂得了家庭教育是一切教育的基础。今后，我着重抓好如下几方面的教育。
一、要注重言传身教。一个人的思想品德首先是在家庭中形成的，因此父母在教育孩子的过程中，应当是父母与孩子共同学习，一起成长的过程。要树立终身学习的理念，“终身学习做父母”，要做一个不断学习的人。平时要注重自己的一言不行，据调查，父母在孩子心目中形象高大与否，跟教育是成正比的。因此，作为孩子的第一任老师，一定要以身作则，言传身教，做一个人格完整的人，一个具备好品性的人。
二、要注重学习习惯的养成。在这次学习中，再三强调了学习习惯养成的重要性，一个好习惯的养成要比学习本身更重要。因此，在孩子的初步阶段，我要加倍重视，不折不扣地按照教师的方法执行：①要和孩子共同制作一个学习计划和作息时间表，要让孩子合理安排时间，按计划学习。②要求孩子回家先做作业，而且要认真，高效地完成，然后才能做其他事。③养成上课专心听讲，积极提问的习惯。好习惯首先是从专心听讲来的，平时要多关注孩子，要养成在学习中找问题的习惯。④养成爱读书的习惯，每天进行亲子阅读，多读经典书，要让孩子知道书是甜的、书是香的，学习是辛苦并快乐的事。就如教授所说：“不要授人以鱼，要教人之渔”，要做孩子的向导，不要做孩子的拐杖。
三、要注重平时沟通，建立良好的亲子关系。平时要多和孩子聊天，关注孩子生活中的细节，进行随机教育。“说教式”的谈话方式效果往往一般，要通过讲故事、谈看法，在潜移默化中影响孩子。在孩子的学习上，更多关注平时的学习情况，淡化分数，因人而异，绝不攀比，多讨论、多沟通、多交流，要做孩子的朋友和伙伴。
